Job Description


This key employee works directly with the training team to coordinate learning sessions and facilitate new employee onboarding. This position manages classes in our Learning Management System (LMS) and provides analytics on learning activities.


  • Coordinate logistics and calendar of events for training / ensures all training rooms/venues, equipment, catering arrangements, and other peripherals are scheduled or cancelled in advance.
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions.
  • Creates and updates courses, sessions and other learning units through the learning management system / serves as a single point of contact for learning management systems for training.
  • Provides administrative and program support for training and certification programs.
  • Schedules training sessions in accordance with development program curricula, scheduling cycles and facilitator availability.
  • Sends out appropriate pre-course and post-course information to employees, managers, and facilitators.
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.  
  • Orders or prints training participant materials prior to training events.
  • Creates and updates courses, sessions and other learning units through the Learning Management System.
  • Conduct data analysis and generate reporting related to the Learning Management System (LMS). Assists trainers in course set up and break downs before and after sessions.
  • Sends out course evaluation questionnaires following training courses and compiles feedback to HROD Training Manager.
  • Records employee attendance in the Learning Management System.
  • Answers general employee questions regarding training opportunities, the Learning Management System, or development program status (i.e., PRIME 100, Manager’s Momentum).
  • Assists in delivery of training sessions such as New Employee Orientation.
  • Researches training topics and gathers information to support training initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field


  • Working knowledge of learning management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong facilitation, design, and development skills
  • Excellent change management skills required
  • Knowledge of and experience in state of the art organizational development tools, both automated and manual, required.
  • Knowledge of human resources and training practices and principles
  • Solid PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills


  • 2-4 years of related experience in administrative support roles, preferably in Human Resources or Training/Organizational Development
  • Experience in training and/or organizational development experience desired
  • Experience with SharePoint, webinar tools, and eLearning tools is preferred


  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position.
