This position is responsible for developing an extensive expertise in the data and systems leveraged internally and externally by the Analytics department and Departments throughout the organization.  Responsible for working with various Operational Departments, Information Systems and Data Warehouse teams to meet the Regulatory Reporting team’s organizational objectives. Additionally, responsible for gathering requirements, performing analysis, supporting the development and testing of processes, and understanding and documenting the applications, data, and associated technologies for the team.



  • Responsible for developing an extensive expertise in the data and systems leveraged internally and externally by the Analytics department and Departments throughout the organization.
  • Provides support to all activities related to implementation, data management, and analysis on the Regulatory Reporting team.
  • Recommends and prepares modifications to reporting solutions and data structures that meet Regulatory Reporting needs.
  • Maintains the overall integrity of existing Regulatory Reporting data elements and structures stored within the data warehouse and secondary systems.
  • Document applications for use in training, maintenance, and department procedures
  • Assist in the training and growth of new analysts, as well as act as Subject Matter Expert on requested analyses
  • Perform complex queries.  Apply extensive understanding of database tables, relations, data types and values
  • Assist in implementation of the Data Report Systems
  • Assist in development of benchmark reports
  • Assist in the analysis and presentation of business opportunities
  • Participate in development and analysis teams with other managers (including Managers of other departments)



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration, Mathematics, Information Systems, Economics, Statistics or related field


  • Working knowledge of a structured query language, such as Microsoft Access, TSQL, PL/SQL, SSRS and SAS
  • Has experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid data
  • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Performs complex data analysis using traditional and non-traditional statistical methods
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop multiple workable solutions
  • Considered highly proficient in databases / SQL and OLAP architecture
  • Demonstrates an active interest in enhancing current skills and learning new ones; applies advanced functional or technical knowledge to do his or her job at a high level of accomplishment
  • Chooses appropriate tools or technology for tasks; improves or redesigns processes, tools, or technologies
  • Assist in the training, mentoring, growth and development of new analysts, teaching skills and explaining concepts as well as act as Subject Matter Expert on requested analysis.
  • Participate fully in analytical team.  May lead multi-functional teams.
  • In depth knowledge of more than one corporate unit and recognize problems and propose solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex problems


  • Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and/or report development
  • Preferred: Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, business analysis or application development/implementation
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau preferred


  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position.
