Job Description


The Sr. Data Warehouse Developer will work with business and IT leadership to understand the key components of the data and business strategy and will have accountability for delivering solutions that align to that strategy. The role will be responsible for all development lifecycle aspects of the solutions, from scoping and requirements through implementation and support. The Sr. Data Warehouse Developer will be accountable for establishing the processes and standards necessary to enable the development team to deliver quality, compliant, and timely solutions.


  • Participates in all aspects of application development
  • Leads the daily activities of the development team and mentors team members to establish a cohesive level of technical capability
  • Works with business partners to identify priorities and manages the team’s workload to deliver against those priorities
  • Responsible for soliciting and capturing business requirements and service expectations for new development requests
  • Establishes design and coding standards for data warehouse processes and ensures adherence to those standards
  • Leads and participates in design, coding, testing and implementation activities
  • Participates in on-call support for business critical applications
  • Partners with IT and business leadership to help shape the data and information direction of the organization
  • Stays abreast of technology advances and participates in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies into the environment



  • Bachelor’s or more advanced degree in Business/Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent work experience


  • Advanced understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts
  • Strong knowledge of database architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn, innovate and evolve technology
  • Experience transforming to/working in an Agile environment is preferred


  • 8+ years of ETL and data warehouse development experience
  • 5+ years of development experience in a Microsoft environment (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, TFS)
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Data modeling experience
  • Healthcare experience is preferred


  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
