    Reporting to the Manager of Information Systems & Projects, you will plan, initiate, and manage complex and high profile IT projects. This position requires a strong self-starter who can proactively engage cross functional teams with minimal formal direction. You will manage projects from concept through implementation including initiation, requirements, design, build, test, and support. This also includes coordinating resources (staff, equipment, vendors, & consultants) across one or more projects, monitoring project progress, work with IT leadership to adjust resources and priorities, prepare and present progress reports for management, collecting, documenting and archiving all project artifacts. You will also interface with the corporate Project Management Office on behalf of IT.


    • Responsible for managing complex projects and serving as IT Project Lead on projects managed by the corporate Project Management Office
    • Able to understand and utilize various project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) to manage projects effectively and efficiently
    • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
    • Responsible for defining key project activities and deliverables, managing timelines, ensuring project is within schedule and resources are available to achieve project objectives
    • Establishes project governance tools and methodologies for planning, executing and monitoring of IT projects
    • Oversees, defines and monitors critical path activities and resolutions.
    • Implements and leads effective change management activities
    • Provides ongoing reporting of project portfolio performance to Manager and IT Leadership
    • Facilitates presentation of ideas, recommendations, and projects to Manager and IT Leadership
    • Identifies potential impact of project risk events and communicates mitigation options to Manager and Stakeholders
    • Contributes to establishing and maintaining the processes and standards of technology project management based on best practices.
    • Schedules workshops and meetings as required
    • Lead project lessons learned sessions with project members and document responses
    • Provides direction, guidance is subject matter expert to less experienced Project Analysts
    • Other duties as assigned



    • Possess a 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field and minimum of 5 years’ experience…OR 9 years of equivalent work experience in a Project Management Leadership role.
    • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), etc. are preferred and beneficial but are not required.


    • 5 years of experience managing information systems/technology
    • Experienced with the Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) framework and waterfall project management methodology
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal and consultative skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
    • Efficient with using MS Office, Project, and SharePoint
    • Experienced in using MS Project Server and Project Point
    • Able to manage Project Portfolio and develop project metrics
    • Requirements gathering experience
    • Must be detail oriented, able to work independently on multiple projects
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to set priorities to meet deadlines
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
    • Excellent organizational, and customer service skills
    • Healthcare experience is a plus.
