    The Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions in a Microsoft SQL Server BI environment to support business operations and analytics.  This role will participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle from scoping and requirements through implementation and support.   The Data Warehouse Developer will be contribute to evolution of the processes and standards necessary to enable the development team to deliver quality, compliant, and timely solutions.


    • Accountable for design and development of data warehouse and ETL solutions
    • Supports testing activities of data solutions
    • Assists with soliciting and capturing business requirements and service expectations for new development requests
    • Participates in establishing design and coding standards for data warehouse processes and ensures adherence to those standards
    • Accountable for monitoring system performance and addressing issues that may arise
    • Participates in 24x7x365 support for business critical applications
    • Stays abreast of technology advances and participates in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies into the environment



    • Bachelor’s or more advanced degree in Business/Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related Engineering degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree


    • Strong understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts
    • Proven, in-depth Microsoft BI stack development experience (SQL Server 2012 and later)
    • Advanced SQL knowledge and skills
    • Applied knowledge of database architectures
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
    • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Desire to learn, innovate and evolve technology 


    • 3+ Years of ETL and data warehouse development experience in a Microsoft environment (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, TFS) preferred
    • Data modeling experience is preferred
    • Healthcare experience is preferred
    • Agile development experience is preferred


    • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
