    This position is responsible for developing an expertise in the analytics processes, data systems, and developing and maintaining communication among project teams and organizational leadership to facilitate effective project execution, documentation, and issue resolution major corporate initiatives and projects. Responsible for documenting business requirements, supporting the development and testing of processes, and understanding and documenting the applications, data, and associated technologies for supported areas.


    The Analytic Project and Initiatives Analyst is responsible for providing support with respect to ensuring analytics decision-makers have insight and empirical evidence to help drive decisions related to corporate initiatives, identifying changes and impacts to Analytics for all major corporate initiatives and projects. 


    • Support Analytics Program Managers by coordinating project administration, and developing project requirements, documentation, and reporting to support and drive decision making and project progress
    • Review, revise, and maintain critical documents to support the program and project related documentation such as: project schedules, process flows, project team lists, project logs, requirements documents, and status reports
    • Attend meetings, compile and publish meeting minutes, follow up on deliverables to ensure timely completion
    • Represent Analytics in workgroups and team update meetings for any major corporate initiative requiring reporting or routine analytics
    • Monitor changes in the external environment (regulatory/reimbursement changes, managed care arrangements, etc.) and advise senior management on threats and opportunities with suggested action plans
    • Assist in the analysis and presentation of business opportunities
    • Participate in development and analysis teams with other managers (including

    • Facilitate communications among project team members
    • Facilitate project coordination with other operational departments



    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Administration, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field


    • Strong project management skills
    • High degree of initiative, motivation and passion for the business
    • Strong analytical and prioritization skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
    • Effective organizational change management skills:  leadership, communication, team building, facilitation, including without authority
    • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop multiple workable solutions
    • Must be able to perform under pressure and in a very dynamic environment
    • Work, direct, and take direction with all levels of management
    • Perform in a diverse cross-functional team environment
    • Demonstrates an active interest in enhancing current skills and learning new ones; applies advanced functional or technical knowledge to do his or her job at a high level of accomplishment
    • Excellent interpersonal skills


    • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management required
    • 2 years of experience in healthcare (preferably Medicaid and/or Medicare), business analysis, or application development/implementation preferred
    • Advanced personal computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
    • Experience with MS Office tools; MS SharePoint, MS Project, and MS OneNote strongly preferred
