    This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the Health Plan’s Model Audit Rule (MAR) initiative. 


    • Partner with business units to assist in developing MAR documentation, including but not limited to, process maps, key controls, risks, and internal control testing plans and results with coaching
    • Document entity-wide controls or processes with coaching
    • Proactively partner with business units to educate team members and propose value-added recommendations and internal controls with coaching
    • Analyze control effectiveness and assist in implementing control enhancements or process modifications with coaching
    • Ensure MAR documents are in accordance with the Health Plan’s standards
    • Perform key control detailed testing, as directed
    • Conclude on control effectiveness and evaluate/quantify any control deficiencies



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems


    • Basic analytical thinking with some demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply that knowledge broadly to a variety of assignments
    • Proven ability in analyzing control effectiveness and implementing control enhancements or process modifications with minimum effectiveness and business efficiency
    • Participates as a team member.


    • Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience in business process, internal controls, and or auditing


    • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position.
