    Overview

    The Identity and Access Management Specialist III will play a key role in establishing and maturing a team focused on access management and adherence to security and compliance policies for the organization.  This position will develop the framework and routine processes to manage application and system access for all approved entities, including employees, vendors, consultants and contractors.  Responsibilities will include software license management, responding to access security audits, providing communication to business and IT areas, and ensuring timely ticket completion.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute processes and routines that are compliant with VITA Sec 501
    • Execute on time, accurately and completely all New Hire, Departmental Move and Separation ChangeGear tickets and tasks assigned, which includes adding, modifying, and/or deleting access requested for end-user by management
    • Manage software license inventory, including audits and reconciliation of accounts to ensure licenses are accurately assigned and available when needed
    • Conduct routine audits for access to network and system applications to ensure compliance
    • Conduct evaluations and completion of account reactivation requests
    • Conduct annual reviews of operations and procedures to ensure accuracy of documentation on VITA SEC 501 requirements
    • Provide documentation to business as needed for access related audits
    • Review monthly inactivity report for devices and active directory accounts
    • Establish company communication and training to the business on processes surrounding access related requests and terminations
    • Collect access form documentation for all employees and non-employees system access
    • Facilitate access for onboarding employees and non-employees to ensure access is provided on time, accurately and completely
    • Review employee separations to ensure access policies are met
    • Monitor, document and track non-employee access across the company to ensure compliance
    • Expand capabilities within the company’s technologies to enhance current onboarding/off boarding processes for employees and non-employees
    • Configure user accounts for various system applications
    • Configure user accounts for restricted applications requiring elevated privileges
    • Develop documentation for identity and access management
    • Assist in the implementation of Role Based Access across the company
    • Maintain logs on all work performed and processed.
    • Collaborate with Asset Management and System Owners regarding low licensing counts
    • Oversee queue management related to the IAM

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and especially in Information Systems, or equivalent work experience or combination of work experience and education

    SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR SKILLS

    • Experience in the implementation of identity management
    • Experience in Customer Service
    • Experience with audit response and user reports
    • Experience with the creation of SOP’s
    • Experience working in a ticketing system
    • Familiar with VITA, CMS and NIST guidelines
    • Familiar with Role Based Access
    • Understanding of business processes associated with user management lifecycle and ability to design and implement work-flow and rule-based provisioning salutation that meet complex business requirements
    • Experience managing a CMDB
    • Familiar with managing Active Directory User account and Group Policies
    • Familiar with managing server directory access

    WORK BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

    • 4 years of experience in Information Systems
    • 3+ years of experience in identity & access management
    • 1+ years’ experience in managing server share access
    • Technical certification a plus, such as a Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS) and/or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
    • Experience with access audit procedures
    • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including SharePoint, Excel, and Word
    • 1+ years’ experience managing CMDB
    • Healthcare Industry experience is a plus

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
